He will join fellow internationals Alex Gleeson (Castle), Rowan Lester (Hermitage) and Caolan Rafferty (Dundalk) at St Andrews, with Irish Students champion Ronan Mullarney (Galway) and Jonathan Yates (Naas) completing the Irish squad.
There will be 13 Irish players competing at St Andrews, with Barry Anderson (Royal Dublin), Colm Campbell (Warrenpoint), Tiarnan McLarnon (Massereene), John Murphy (Kinsale), Jack Pierse (Portmarnock), Conor Purcell (Portmarnock) and Jake Whelan (Newlands) also entered.

All six will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of Paddy Gribben (1998), Stephen Browne (2001), Brian McElhinney (2003) and Rory McIlroy (2006) as Irish winners of this prestigious 72-hole stroke play championship.
