Jane Mitchell has written several books for children and young people. She has won Bisto Book of the Year, a CBI Merit award and a Children’s Choice award. ‘The Big Dig’ at Bray combines creativity and archaeology. Kids will participate in a simulated archaeological excavation, digging for Viking treasures and learning about the Vikings. Cruinniú na nÓg will see the launch of the Our School mural, which is based on drawings by children of the school and painted by local artist Lucy Tormey with assistance from Mullingar Resource Centre.
