AIRTRICITY LEAGUE PREVIEWS

-

BOHEMIANS v DERRY CITY

(Dalymount Park, 7.45)

Team news: Bohs recall Oscar Brennan after suspension and Keith Buckley is fit again but Karl Moore and Darragh Leahy are still out. Nicky Low, Gavin Peers and Conor McDermott are doubts for Derry, who will have Ronan Curtis playing his last match before moving to England.

Talking point: Kenny Shiels has an astonishing record against Bohs as Derry boss – eight wins in eight games. But despite that record and the Gypsies’ failure to win any of their last five home games, Derry’s confidence will be low after five defeats in six.

Ref: Graham Kelly.

Betting: Bohs 13/10, Derry 11/5, Draw 9/4. Verdict: Home win.

DUNDALK v LIMERICK

(Oriel Park, 7.45)

Team news: Chris Shields misses out for Dundalk because of suspension. Limerick welcome back Cian Coleman and Billy Dennehy but will be without Henry Cameron (international duty), Connor Ellis, Danny Morrissey, Darren Dennehy and Karl O’Sullivan.

Talking point: Limerick forgot about their financial problems to earn a point at home to Bohs last week, but it’s hard to see them getting anything from an in-form Dundalk outfit.

Ref: Neil Doyle.

Betting: Dundalk 1/10, Limerick 22/1, Draw 8/1 Verdict: Home win.

WATERFORD v ST PATRICK’S ATH

(RSC, 7.45)

Team news: The Blues will be without Stanley Aborah (suspended) and Paul Keegan (injured) but Sander Puri is back from international duty with Estonia. Pat’s have several problems, with Thomas Byrne suspended, Chris Fagan out for the season following surgery, and Owen Garvan no longer at the club. Talking point: Pat’s need the midseason break to freshen things up, having lost their last three matches.

Ref: Ray Matthews.

Betting: Bleus 11/10, Pat’s 12/5, Draw 5/2. Verdict: Home win.
