Final four units go on the market

Whitegables, Malahide, Co Dublin

-

IN the upmarket estuary village of Malahide, the Whitegables development was designed to appeal to locals looking to trade up from older properties in the area to an A-rated home that’s easier and cheaper to maintain.

The scheme of 21 houses is located on the Swords Road, near the junction with Estuary Road. Nearby amenities include Malahide Yacht Club, the marina, Co Dublin martime village and Malahide Castle.

Whitegables has been whetting the appetites of well-todo buyers since its launch in November 2016. All 17 houses that made up the first phase of Whitegables have since been sold, so the joint selling agents are putting the final four houses on the market this weekend. Each of the four-bed semi-detached homes has 1,881 sq ft of accommodation over three floors and prices ranging from €725,000 to €745,000.

The scheme is one of many in Dublin being developed by a partnership between Warren Private, a property investment firm, and Greenleaf Homes. The latter firm is part of the Greenleaf Group, which is chaired by Mark Elliott, a former director of P Elliott, which built schemes such as Herberton in Rialto before going into receivership during the crash.

The facades of the homes at Whitegables are dominated by brick, with reconstituted stone to the reveals and windowsills. The entrance hall leads to a spacious front living room and to a rear open-plan kitchen/dining/living area with double doors opening out to a west-facing rear garden.

There is also a utility room, a WC and a cloak area on this level.

On the first floor, there are three double bedrooms, one of which is ensuite, and a main bathroom. On the top floor is the master bedroom, with walkin wardrobes and an ensuite bathroom.

Each bathroom features contemporary-style sanitaryware, tiling to the floors and part of the walls, vanity units, and heated towel rails. The kitchens are also contemporary-style and come with quartz worktops and integrated Neff appliances. The homes have solar panels, a gas-fired central heating system and a mechanical ventilation/heat recovery system. Viewings at Whitegables will be between 11am and

12pm tomorrow and Sunday. Enquiries to: Savills New Homes
