Think out Louth in Ivy House
THERE are around two acres of land going with Ivy House, at Old Road near Monasterboice, Co Louth. The agents suggest a new owner might consider carving up the site for another house, thereby possibly recouping some of the purchase price.
If you didn’t feel the need to do that, however, the surrounding land does give you a nice bit of privacy and enough space to accommodate a donkey, at the very least, in some comfort.
Much of the site has been landscaped in any case, with various patios and a wooden deck, lawns and shrubbery and a vegetable garden, all in spickand-span condition.
The house is just as neat and carefully tended inside as well. It’s 1,991 sq ft including three bedrooms. Two of these are on the first floor, including the en suite master bedroom. The third is downstairs and has an en suite shower and French doors to one of the patios.
