Collins Jnr added to strong Frampton card

STEVE COLLINS JNR will fight for a Boxing Union of Ireland Celtic title on the Carl Frampton undercard at Windsor Park on August 18.

Dublin-born Collins, son of former world champion Steve ‘Celtic Warrior’ Collins and an ex-rugby player with Lansdowne RFC, meets Belfast light-heavy Steven Ward in an All-Ireland showdown.

Collins, who dropped a points decision for an Irish title to Paddy McDonagh at Dublin’s National Stadium last year, has won 12 of his 14 outings ahead of his clash with unbeaten Ward (7-0-0).

Three-time Irish Olympian Paddy Barnes meets Christofer Rosales for the WBC World flyweight strap and Tyson Fury faces an opponent to be confirmed on a strong undercard.
