Team news: Cork have injury concerns over Alan Bennett, Steven Beattie, Karl Sheppard, Colm Horgan and Barry McNamee, while Stephen Bradley is without striker Sean Boyd.

Talking point: Teenager Gavin Bazunu had a flawless record during his three games in goal for Rovers but Alan Mannus will expect to be picked in his first eligible game since rejoining the club from St Johnstone.

Talking point: Derry have lamented that their hometown heroes, such as Patrick McEleney and Michael Duffy, have caused them trouble in the colours of rival clubs but both players have said no approaches were made to offer them a return to the Candystrip­es.

ST PAT’S v DUNDALK

Team news: Liam Buckley is boosted by the return of defender Kevin Toner from suspension and can include new captures Conor Clifford and Brendan Clarke. Dundalk also have additions in Georgie Kelly and Patrick McEleney. Talking point: After suffering five defeats on the spin, the Saints need something from the game to stop the rot. WATERFORD v BOHEMIANS

(RSC, 7.45pm )

Team news: Garry Comerford (foot) and John Martin (ankle) are out for Waterford and doubts remains over the fitness of Gavan Holohan and Paul Keegan. For Bohs, Dinny Corcoran will need to pass a fitness test on his groin problem but Keith Buckley returns.

Talking point: Dylan Watts is a player on the mind of both clubs. Bohs have just lost their classy playmaker following his loan from Leicester City and Waterford want his talent, amid a possible followon transfer to another club owned by Lee Power, Swindon Town.
