‘Steak’ your claim to Co Louth living

Mount Hamilton, Dundalk, Co Louth

-

MOUNT Hamilton is a scheme of family homes on Dundalk’s Carrick Road, developed by Urban Life, a company led by Laurence Goodman Jnr, a son of local beef baron Larry Goodman.

The estate was originally launched off the plans in November 2016 and a third phase, comprising 22 three and four-bed semi-detached homes and four-bed detached houses, followed this spring. When complete, Mount Hamilton will comprise 169 homes.

Some 15 houses are still on the market from the most recent phase. Prices start at €225,000 for a terraced three-bed, at €235,000 for a semi-detached version, at €250,000 for a four- bed semi, and at €345,000 for a four-bed detached home.

The block-built properties are faced in red brick, and come with a driveway and front and back gardens. Inside, there is a choice of colours, upstands and worktops for the shakerstyle kitchen, as well as fitted wardrobes to some of the bedrooms. The gas-fired central heating in the A3-rated houses can be controlled remotely.

Mount Hamilton is within walking distance of Clarke train station and the town centre, and a few minutes’ drive from the M1, and 88km from Dublin city centre.
