Duty calls for ‘Garda Marc’ at Queen gig
THERE was no messing tolerated at the Queen concert with this ‘garda’ on the beat.
Marc Mullen (13), from Ballyfermot, Dublin, yesterday donned his Garda jacket and cap and helped to police the crowd for the gig at Marlay Park.
His partner for the day was Garda Eddie Fallon, who was happy to show Marc – who may have a budding career ahead of him as a member of the thin blue line – the ropes.
The pair helped to ensure that everyone had a good time at the gig by the legendary band, who have been touring with singer Adam Lambert.
