‘SUPER 8s’ COLLIDE WITH HURLING QUARTER-FINAL

-

THE All-Ireland SFC ‘Super 8s’ fixture between Kildare and Monaghan in Croke Park on Sunday will collide with the Kilkenny-Limerick All-Ireland SHC quarter-final in Semple Stadium on a busy weekend of GAA action.

Both ties will throw-in at 2.0 while the second part of a Croke Park doubleheader will see the meeting of Munster SFC champions Kerry and Connacht counterparts Galway (4.0) clash with the soccer World Cup final in Moscow.

Spectators are set for a bumper tripleheader on Saturday with Davy Fitzgerald’s Wexford going up against his native Clare to kick the action off in the All-Ireland SHC quarter-final at Páirc Uí Chaoimh (3.0).

That will be quickly followed by a Super 8s double-header as Tyrone face Roscommon at GAA HQ (5.0), while the clash of four-in-a-row-chasing Dublin and Ulster champions Donegal (7.0) brings the curtain down on a jam-packed day.
