Show of hands at papal visit

■ The news that up to half-a-million people have signed up for tickets for the papal event is a surprise following the abortion referendum result.

Perhaps Pope Francis should capitalise on this to ask for a show of hands of those who voted for abortion. In turn, perhaps Francis should be asked when is he going to tackle the dismal state of Church leadership in Ireland.
