Two bespoke homes still available in village
ON the western edge of Templeogue, a village that counts poet Austin Clarke and former Taoiseach Liam Cosgrave among its former residents, lies an enclave called Fairborne.
The scheme, which is being developed by Valiant Homes just off the Templeogue Road at Templeville Park, comprises just four detached properties, all set around a landscaped green.
Each of the four bespoke homes — called The Amelia, The Platinum, The Lincoln and The Eden — have between 1,823 sq ft and 1,920 sq ft of living space across three floors. Just two of the four homes are still available: both measure 1,823 sq ft and are priced from €895,000 apiece.
The block-built properties were designed to fit in with period properties on the Templeogue Road: they have a red-brick finish and a feature granite string course. Each house has a custom-designed fitted kitchen with Siemens appliances, with a sealed feature gas fire forming the centrepiece of the living room. The bathrooms are tiled and come with polished chrome fittings.
All the homes at Fairborne have an A2 BER, thanks to energy-efficient features such as threezone controls for the gas-fired central heating system, a heat recovery ventilation system, double-glazed NorDan windows, and PV panels on the roof to generate extra electricity.
Individual viewings of the remaining Fairborne houses, which are 95pc finished, can be arranged by appointment. Enquiries to: DNG New Homes (01) 491 2600.
