The design of the Camden properties has been attracting professional couples, young families, and local downsizers, the selling agents say. The location has also proved a draw. Ashtown train station is just a 10-minute walk from Royal Canal Park and serves the city centre directly. All the timber-framed houses at Camden, designed by O’Mahony Pike Architects, have higher-than-standard ceiling heights to the ground floor, high-performance hardwood windows, and double-glazed patio doors leading to a rear garden. The custom-designed kitchens are fitted with Minerva worktops and a range of appliances. The Hazel is a four-bed terraced style measuring 1,621 sq ft and comes with a large carport, while the Heron is a fourbed mid-terrace style with 1,677 sq ft of space laid out over three floors. The Willows is an end-of-terrace design with its main entrance located to the side of the house. The showhouses at Camden are on view between 12pm and 2pm tomorrow and Sunday, or by appointment.
