BELLINGSFIELD Naas, Co Kildare Asking price: From €345,000 Agents: Savills (01) 618 1300 or CME Auctioneers (045) 897 711 FIRST-TIME buyers seeking more bang for their buck in the commuter belt dominated viewings during the second release of homes at Bellingsfield, the new development that Ballymore Group is building. Sean Mulryan’s Ballymore wrapped up sales last year of the 117 homes it developed at Piper’s Hill, near Killashee Hotel, a four-star hotel and spa, about 1.5km from Naas. Mulryan then shifted his focus towards neighbouring Bellingsfield. Once it’s complete, the new scheme will have 243 houses. Of the 25 three and four-bed properties that came on stream last weekend, eight were reserved. Sizes range from 1,300 sq ft to 1,753 sq ft, with prices going from €345,000 to €480,000. Ballymore has combined Ivanhoe and red-hued Viola brick detail with render for the facades of the homes. The homes also come with high-performance pre-finished hardwood windows, concrete roof tiles, and sealed double-glazing to the patio doors, which lead to a rear seeded garden. Each house has two car parking spaces. The bespoke kitchen is fitted with quartz worktops and appliances, while the bathrooms and ensuites have clean lines. Families with children who buy one of the A-rated houses will have no excuse for being late for school — there are four schools within a five minutes’ walk, namely Piper’s Hill Montessori, Gaelscoil Nás Na Riogh, St David’s National School, and Piper’s Hill College. Dublin city centre is about a 50-minute drive from Bellingsfield in light traffic. Commuters to Dublin can also use the rail service from nearby Sallins. Viewings continue tomorrow and Sunday, from 11am to 1pm.
