DOWNSIZERS with a penchant for Edwardian red-bricks but none of the maintenance headaches are the target market for Vernon Mews, a new development in Clontarf with period-style features such as bay windows, tiled pathways and iron railings. Tucked away off the eponymous Vernon Avenue and backing on Belgrove Road, Vernon Mews is just a few minutes’ walk from the promenade and the centre of Clontarf village. The brick elevations are complemented by reconstituted granite stone to the sills of the Alu-clad double-glazed windows from NorDan.. To the rear, each property has a goodsized seeded and levelled garden, with most of the gardens having a southfacing or west-facing aspect to make the most of sunlight. Residents will be given designated parking spaces.
