CASTLE FARM Naas, Co Kildare Asking price: From €310,000 Agent: DNG Doyle, (045) 874795 or DNG New Homes, (01) 4912600 Latent demand for last weekend’s launch of the second phase of Castle Farm outside Naas built up after prospective buyers missed out when the development’s first tranche sold out quickly in the wake of its March release. To cater to these purchasers, developer Ardstone Homes released 32 properties last Saturday at the scheme, which is being built near the ruins of Jigginstown Castle, about 1km from the centre of Naas. Castle Farm will comprise 180 homes when it’s finished, with 40 sold in the first phase. There are still 18 houses for sale from the second phase. Prices for the remaining homes start at €310,000 for a three-bed, mid-terrace style, at €335,000 for a three-bed semi-detached style, and go up to €375,000 for a four-bed semi with between 1,421 sq ft and 1,507 sq ft of living space. The facades of the houses are either in a full brick or a combination of brick and render, depending on the style selected, with double-glazed uPVC windows in agate grey. Each house has a front driveway with Tobermore paving, with the terraced houses coming with two dedicated parking spaces. Inside, there is a bespoke fitted kitchen with a stone-effect worktop from Fitzgerald Kitchens, integrated appliances, bathrooms with a vanity sink unit and tiling, and fitted bedroom wardrobes painted in a mussel colour. The A3-rated homes are 5km from the Sallins/Naas train station and 2km from the access to the M7 that connects Naas with Dublin. Viewings of the three showhouses at Castle Farm, which were fitted out by House & Garden Furnishings, will continue tomorrow and Sunday, from 12pm to 2pm.
