SAINT PANCRAS Terenure, Dublin 6W Asking price: From €829,500 Agent: Knight Frank, (01) 634 2466

SAINT Pancras, a new high-end development in Terenure, is named after a 19th-century villa called St Pancras House that once sat off Mount Tallant Avenue. By 1926, the vast grounds of St Pancras House became home to the Clarnico Murray sweets company. St Pancras House has long since been demolished. But its gates and piers are now enjoying a new incarnation, as the entrance to an eponymous scheme of homes with design echoes of Mount Tallant Avenue’s period red-brick streetscape. When it’s finished, the development, launched in May, will comprise 37 houses and 35 apartments, set around a landscaped communal green. For now, there are eight houses available. A three-bed terraced house with 1,711 sq ft of living space and a study is priced from €829,500. The three-bed-plus-study is also available in a detached style, with a price-tag of €850,000. Prices for a four-bed, 2,002sq ft mid-terraced home start at €890,000, while a four-bed end-of-terrace design with the same living space costs from €910,000. Out front, there is a paved driveway, while the back garden comes with a patio paved with cobblelock. Internally, the kitchen/ diner has a fitted kitchen from Gallagher Kitchens and French doors that open onto the patio. Integrated appliances are included in the price if contracts are signed within 21 days. Gallaghers also supplied the bedroom wardrobes. The bathrooms and en suites are laid with Porcelanosa tiles and fitted with Villeroy & Boch sanitaryware. St Pancras is on view tomorrow and Sunday, from 1pm to 2pm.
