GLASLINN, a development of two, three and four-bed houses in the north Dublin coastal village of Donabate, has attracted first-time buyers, growing families and downsizers since it launched in February.
The scheme is being built on a 2.4-ac site that was once home to a large house of the same name. Buyers have been drawn to the development by its location: Glaslinn is near the centre of the village, is a five-minute drive from Portrane Beach, and is across the road from the Donabate Educate Together national school.
The final six four-bed houses at the Moran Park Homebuilders scheme were released at the end of August, and three are still for sale. All three measure 1,680 sq ft and are priced from €465,000.

The bespoke kitchen inside is fitted with contemporary-style solid surface worktops and soft-close drawers and doors, all from Fitzgerald Kitchens. The latter also supplied the fitted wardrobes in the bedrooms. The A3-rated homes are 20km northeast of Dublin city centre. Donabate railway station is a 10-minute walk from Glaslinn.
