Corcoran bags four goals as Bohs blitz sorry Bray

-

DINNY CORCORAN’s Indian sign over relegated Bray continued last night at the Carlisle Grounds as Bohs won for the fifth straight Premier Division game on the road.

Three of the striker’s six league goals had previously come against Wanderers this season.

But he matched that tally at the Carlisle Grounds with a first-half hat-trick as the visitors blitzed their opponents who slumped to their 10th successive defeat in all competitions.

Corcoran then went one better when getting his fourth of the night when making it 5-0 midway through the second period.

With just eight minutes on the clock, Keith Ward’s sliderule pass released the striker to beat the offside trap.

He rounded the advancing Mark O’Connor before slotting into an empty net.

It became 2-0 just three minutes later. Corcoran exchanged passes with former Seagull Keith Buckley for the 29-year-old to sweep in from close range.

It got even better for the away outfit by the 25th minute. Buckley released Kevin Devaney down the left channel to fire low past O’Connor from 15-yards.

Six minutes before the interval, a superb team move saw Ward again the provider as he played in Corcoran whose low effort went through O’Connor’s grasp.

Ward claimed his third assist of the contest in the 66th minute as Corcoran netted his 10th top-flight goal this term.
