Holland chasing Leger four-timer

THE quarter-finals of the Barking Buzz Irish St Leger top the bill tonight and a great crowd is anticipated at Limerick Stadium for what should be a quartet of thrilling contests.

It could well be a bonanza for last year’s winning trainer Graham Holland who has very strong prospects of landing a four-timer.

The banker of the evening would appear to be Lenson

Blinder (9.09) in the first heat of the session.

HIS combination of early pace and strong stamina should see him gain an allthe-way victory with Kilbride Warrior his likely main threat.

Holland has Nice Charmer

(9.24) in the second heat and this strong runner’s biggest problem will likely be overcoming the early-paced Droopys Neymar.

THE latter’s doubtful stamina can swing it for the Charmer.

Last year’s winner

Clonbrien Hero (9.39) is maintaining his form very well and his main rival will be Brendan Maunsell’s Cash Is King.

The race of the night should be the concluding heat where Clonbrien

Prince (9.54), David Murray’s Gurteen Feather and Holland’s other runner Totos Park are likely to battle it out.

It is difficult to call but Clonbrien Prince is a very strong tracker and could well be the one to claim the outright prize in the Classic.
