David McConnell, Heating Product Manager at Mitsubishi Electric will speak about heat pumps, ‘How They Work, Savings, Efficiency Vs Standard Home Heating’.

David says, “Many people who choose a heat pump system are driven by the thought of lower heating bills and future proofing themselves against the rising cost of fossil fuels. Heat pumps are much more efficient that regular heating systems, operating at efficiencies of up to 450pc as opposed to gas or oil systems at about 90pc.

“They are also very safe as they don’t emit any dangerous flue gases eliminating the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning. While everyone likes to save on running costs, there are many other benefits, like increased levels of comfort and reduced carbon emissions and lower maintenance costs.”

David adds, “Many people are still not aware of the benefits of heat-pump technology.
