Voters show wisdom in rejecting megalomaniacs
THANK you to the wise voters of Ireland who sent a resounding message to the ill-qualified, megalomaniac candidates, whose egos far outstripped their intellects and emotional intelligence.
Their arrogance in pontificating on “what I would do as president” could only have been predicated on – not surprisingly false assumptions – that the vast majority of the electorate were post lobotomy.
Míle buíochas to the 55.8pc of the discerning electorate who cast their votes for competence, sagacity and accomplishment versus harvesters of frivolous multimedia demagogues of transient purport. C O’Lorchain Co Westmeath
