Art goes Pop: Wall of Warhol to go on show
THOUSANDS of people will get to enjoy a €1m wall of Pop Art, featuring works by Andy Warhol, at the country’s biggest art fair.
The Art Source exhibition will see Warhol works displayed in a 12-piece collection of American Pop Art with a combined value into seven figures. More than 15,000 visitors are expected.
The fair will also feature a decade of live music display from renowned Dublin music photographer Ruth Medjber, who has just finished Arcade Fire’s European tour and has been signed up to shoot Glastonbury for the BBC.
Among the featured artists will be Grace Jones, Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers and LCD Soundsystem.
Art Source takes place at the RDS, Dublin, from November 9 to 11.
