Art goes Pop: Wall of Warhol to go on show

THOUSANDS of people will get to enjoy a €1m wall of Pop Art, featuring works by Andy Warhol, at the country’s biggest art fair.

The Art Source exhibition will see Warhol works displayed in a 12-piece collection of American Pop Art with a combined value into seven figures. More than 15,000 visitors are expected.

The fair will also feature a decade of live music display from renowned Dublin music photograph­er Ruth Medjber, who has just finished Arcade Fire’s European tour and has been signed up to shoot Glastonbur­y for the BBC.

Among the featured artists will be Grace Jones, Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers and LCD Soundsyste­m.

Art Source takes place at the RDS, Dublin, from November 9 to 11.

Admission is €10 adults, €8
