Long-haul dilemma for Ballyhale quartet

-

BALLYHALE players heading to Australia with the Kilkenny hurlers for the Wild Geese Trophy exhibition game against Galway may have to cut short their stay.

TJ Reid, Joey Holden, Colin Fennelly and Richie Reid are due to fly to Sydney next week for the inaugural Wild Geese Trophy game. The party won’t be back until the morning of Saturday, November 17. That is the day before Shamrocks face either Camross (Laois) or Naomh Éanna (Wexford) in the provincial club championship.

The players are exploring the possibility of an early flight home to recover before the Leinster match.
