What to do with an abandoned KitKat?

I TRUST everyone is dealing responsibly today with the First World Problem that strikes most households every November 1 – what to do with all the mounds of stuck-together jellies, popcorn and mini-Twixes littering the kitchen after Halloween.

Google offers a bewildering array of solutions, most of which boil down to throwing all the leftovers into a bowl of dough, forming the mess into shape, baking it and then calling it “candy cookies” or “KitKat brownies” or similar.

Or you could just bag it up and leave it in the office canteen. Less messy and just as effective.
