-

THE GUI National Golf Academy at Carton House is one of Ireland’s premier golf facilities.

The good news, if you’re a PGA Assistant in Training, is that you could be working there from 1 February next year.

The GUI has advertised for the PGA Assistant offering an eight-month contract working alongside the Academy’s Head PGA Professional Kenny Fahey and the coaching team.

It’s a golden opportunity for an aspiring coach to work and learn at a facility which regularly hosts National Panels, PGA and European Tour professionals and Team Ireland golfers.

The job comes with the added perk of gym membership and access to the two championship golf courses at Carton House and involves giving private lessons, group lessons, club fitting, membership management and the day to day duties associated with running a busy driving range and coaching facility.

Applications and queries about the positions should be sent by email only to Alan Kelly - alan@gui.ie before 5 pm on Friday 30th November with interviews set for Friday, 14 December.

Applications, which will only be accepted from those enrolled on the PGA Degree Course, should include a CV and cover letter in a single PDF when applying.
