Putting down roots at Auburn Green

-

AUBURN Green, a new development launching in Glenageary this weekend, is so named because it’s behind Auburn Road, is surrounded by parkland, and is within walking distance from Killiney Golf Course.

The Coliemore Homes scheme consists of just 14 houses and apartments, all tucked away off Rochestown Avenue. There are 10 three-bed-plus-study houses, each with 1,550 sq ft of living space across three floors, one five-bed detached property measuring 2,348 sq ft, and three two-bed, 958-sq ft apartments. The three-bed houses cost from €715,000, the five-bed is priced from €995,000, and the apartments carry starting price-tags of €435,000.

The houses have a clay brick-and-render exterior finish, with a paved front driveway flanked by planter beds that can accommodate two cars. Inside, the fitted kitchen, which features a handleless Gola design with hard-coat graphite doors and quartz worktops, comes from BeSpace, which also supplied the bespoke handleless bedroom wardrobes. The sanitaryware in the bathrooms and ensuites are from Noken’s Porcelanosa range.

Auburn Green is a seven-minute drive from Glenageary Dart station, while bus routes 7, 45A and 11 serve the city centre from Rochestown Avenue. The M50 is nearby and the Luas stop at Cherrywood is 3km away.

The new showhouse is on view from 2pm to 4pm tomorrow and Sunday.
