Gymnast Biles breaks pain barrier and record

AMERICAN legend Simone Biles can now surely claim the gymnastics GOAT (Greatest Of All Time) title after what she did at the World Championships in Doha.

In the latest extraordinary display of her talents, Biles secured three individual events, including a record fourth ‘all-round’ title, plus a team gold, bringing her tally of world titles to a record 14.

This was achieved after an 18-month injury lay-off and in the same year she revealed she had been sexually abused by USA’s former team doctor Larry Nassar.

The incredible 4ft 8in pocket rocket was also diagnosed with a kidney stone on the eve of Worlds, but competed without pain-killers because of drug-testing.
