Dublin and Meath to clash for Sean Cox fund
ALL-IRELAND champions Dublin will take on Meath in Navan’s Páirc Tailteann on Sunday, December 16 in aid of the Sean Cox rehabilitation fund.
Final details of the game are yet to be confirmed but it’s expected the match will throw in at 2pm. The money raised will add to the £60,000 (€69,000) raised cross-channel for his continued recovery.
It will be a busy weekend for Meath manager Andy McEntee as the Royals are in Bord na Móna O’Byrne Cup action against Laois the previous evening while Jim Gavin’s Dublin have been afforded a bye to the semi-finals on January 12.
