Trust how you feel on digestion – Geary
BROADCASTER and sports star Anna Geary and Dr Sarah Kingston urged people to trust their gut when it comes to digestive health.
One in five people experiences ongoing gastrointestinal problems on a regular basis, often ignoring over-the-counter treatment because of embarrassment.
The overall aim of the new ‘Gut Check’ campaign, which is being run by the probiotic Alflorex, is to make people aware of the importance of gut health. This campaign is urging people to talk about symptoms and to make small changes to diet, eating habits and general lifestyle.
Geary said: “If you feel something isn’t right, be proactive and seek advice.”
