Russian fighter jet has near miss with US plane

THE Pentagon claimed a Russian fighter jet twice flew dangerously close to a US military reconnaissance plane in international airspace over the Black Sea on Monday. Spokesman Eric Pahon revealed the Russian SU-27 came “very, very close” to the American aircraft. He said the 25-minute encounter” put the US pilots and crew at risk.
