Paddleboarder (33) killed in shark attack
A MAN died after he was attacked by a shark off Australia’s northeast coast on Monday, the third attack in a popular tourist area in the last two months.
Medical researcher Daniel Christidis (33), from Melbourne, was on a paddleboard at Cid Harbour, off Whitsunday Island in Queensland.
Police have now warned people to avoid swimming in Cid Harbour.
