ASHFIELD AT RIDGEWOOD Swords, Co Dublin Asking price: €410,000 Agent: Morton & Flanagan (01) 840 4011

BECAUSE Ashfield is being built within a 1990s Swords development called Ridgewood, its new residents benefit from Ridgewood’s 14 acres of amenity spaces.

Clontarf-based MKN Property Group, which built Ridgewood, began construction in 2016 on the Ashfield section, which will comprise 173 houses when it’s finished.

The final 30 houses, including the show houses, came on the market at Ashfield at the end of October, and 17 of them are still for sale. These properties are located on Ashfield Avenue, overlooking green space, trees and farmland.

Prices for the three-bed semi-detached homes in the tranche range from €410,000 to €412,000, while the 1,410-sq ft four-bed semis cost between €430,000 and €445,000, with higher prices being commanded by the four-beds that have south-facing back gardens and are situated in a part of the development without passing traffic. There is one four-bed detached home available; it also spans 1,410 sq ft, priced from €464,000.

Externally, the facades of the traditional-style twostorey homes are finished in a combination of brick and render, all complemented by high-performance doubleglazed windows from Grady Joinery.

The contemporary-style kitchen, supplied by Nolan Kitchens, comes with softclose doors and an island unit. Commuters from Ridgewood can access the nearby M1 and M50, or use the 41C, 102 and Swords Express bus routes. Viewings tomorrow, between 2pm and 4pm.
