Blainroe motoring into 2019

-

THE Drive-In is a big part of golf club activity and Blainroe Golf Club took it literally as Captain Jim Graham and Lady Captain, Miriam McGrath motored into 2019 in classical style at the clifftop gem in County Wicklow.

Celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, the family friendly club situated just a five-minute drive from Wicklow Town on the coast road to Brittas Bay has come up with a special Introductory Membership offer this year.

Join by March 19 and you can enjoy full, seven-day membership for €1200, Five-day membership for €1000 or Intermediate Membership if you are between (22 and 24 years-old) from €350.

Introductory membership comes with a free, private Trackman lesson with the club’s PGA Professional David Lewis, a free fourball and an invitation to attend the free short game clinic for new members.

Blainroe’s next “Get Into Golf” course for ladies will begin in February with beginners paying €100 for the course, held on Thursday mornings or Saturday afternoons.

More than 150 ladies have now successfully completed the course, which includes four weeks of lessons with the PGA professional, four weeks of mentored play on the course and refreshments after play.

A similar Get into Golf course for men will also be held at the Blainroe Men’s Academy on Saturday mornings in February, also costing €100.

For more details on membership and the Get Into Golf courses, contact Blainroe’s General Manager, Patrick Bradshaw on (0404) 68168 or via email at info@blainroe.com.
