Irish woman dies in Australia crash

AN IRISH woman has died following a car accident in Australia.

The woman, who was in her 20s, and is believed to be from Co Mayo, died following a two-car collision in Melbourne.

It’s understood the woman had travelled to Australia in recent weeks.

The Department of Foreign Affairs said it was aware of the incident and was providing consular assistance to the family of the deceased.
