Dundalk’s new boss takes in Ireland training

- CIAN TRACEY

JOE SCHMIDT is well known for opening his door to other Irish coaches across a range of different sports and yesterday it was the turn of Dundalk’s new head coach Vinny Perth as he took in the training session.

Perth has replaced Stephen Kenny at the League of Ireland champions and he was joined in Carton House by Johann van Graan, who caught up with several of his Munster players.

In the past the likes of Jim Gavin and James Horan have also been invited to watch Schmidt’s sessions.
