2. What’s your pre-training routine?

I usually do some foam-rolling and then switch-on work for glutes and hamstrings.

4. Imagine a world that you’re not a rugby player – what’s your job?

I’d work in the restaurant business. My family are involved in a catering business so yeah, with food or restaurant­s would be a good fit.

5. Stranded on a desert island, what three things do you take?

A flat white, a steak and my dog Lola.

6. Which team-mate would you want with you on the island and why?

Hughie O Sullivan – he’s easy-going!

7. What was your favourite book as a child?

‘The Gruffalo’.

8. What’s your first sporting memory as a player or spectator and what do you remember from it?

Going to the first Premier League game of the season in 2007. Manchester United against Reading in Old Trafford.

9. You have one moment from your career to do over. What is it?

St Fintan’s v Clongowes in the Senior Cup in January 2017. I was playing with St Fintan’s High School and we narrowly missed out on a big upset. I would love another crack at that game.

10. What rugby skill would you most like to possess?

Spiral kicking!

11. Favourite box-set/TV series?

‘Prison Break’.

12. What current player in your position do you most admire?

Tadhg Furlong.

13. Who has been the biggest influence on your rugby career and why?

My mum Jenny, she threw me into Suttonians at a young age!

14. What was your first car?

Volkswagen Golf.

15. What sporting event makes your bucket list and why?

The Ryder Cup.

16. One minute to go in the Champions Cup final, you’re three points down and you have a penalty in front of the posts… what do you do?

Tap and go! Ha!

17. What was the last concert you went to?

U2 in Croke Park in 2017.

18. Tell us something interestin­g about yourself.

My surname originates from the Huguenots in Normandy, France!

19. What’s your own best memory playing rugby?

Winning the U-18 Youths interpros with Leinster is still right up there. Great group of lads.

20. Who’ll win the Gallagher Premiershi­p in England and the Top 14 in France?

Saracens and Clermont.
