Autodesk makes software for people who make things. If you’ve ever driven a highperfor­mance car, admired a towering skyscraper, used a smartphone, or watched a movie, there is a chance it was made with the software.

The training

The company has three internship openings for students in the Dublin office. These include positions for Software Engineer (Machine Learning), Software Engineer (DevOps) and Finance Analyst.

What to expect

The company promises that employees will work on real world projects from day one. Autodesk has a diverse workforce, with offices throughout the world. The Dublin office is home to the Europe, Middle East and Asia (EMEA) headquarte­rs, with 170 staff representi­ng 28 different nationalit­ies. Employees work in a number of different languages in the company’s work as a leading provider of computer-aided design (CAD) software.

What you learn

All of the internship opportunit­ies are projectbas­ed learning assignment­s that contribute to the student’s education.

What are the prospects

Autodesk mentors and auditions the students for a brief period of time with the hopeful goal of extending an offer of a full-time job after graduation.
