Green for go at 78-unit Ballycullen scheme
Ballycullen, Dublin 24 Asking price: From €475,000 Agent: DNG New Homes (01) 491 2600
MAPLEWOOD Residential had been selling its four-bed styles at Ballycullen Green from a showhouse at DodderBrook, its other relatively new Ballycullen scheme. But Ballycullen Green’s very own four-bed semi-detached showhouse opened last weekend to market a new release.
The 78-unit development, which has views of Dublin City from its backdrop near the foothills of the Dublin Mountains, launched from a waiting list at the end of 2017. Ten four-bed semis and fourbed detached homes were released last Saturday from the new showhouse, and seven are still officially for sale.
Prices start at €475,000 for the four-bed semi, which has between 1,404 sq ft and 1,441 sq ft of accommodation, and at €520,000 for a detached version ranging in size from 1,441 sq ft to 1,492 sq ft.
The traditional-style two-storey houses have brick-and-render façades and uPVC double-glazed windows, with landscaping flanking the front driveway. Fencing with timber panels and concrete posts encloses the back garden and its patio, which can also be accessed via side gates.
There are 9ft-high ceilings throughout each ground floor, including at the custom-designed, shaker-style kitchen, for which buyers have a choice of colours. The tiled utility room comes plumbed for a washing machine and a dryer. Upstairs, there are built-in wardrobes with painted doors and brushed-chrome knobs to all the bedrooms.
Viewings of the Ballycullen Green showhouses will continue tomorrow and Sunday, between 12pm and 2pm.
