Change of heart may keep Tuilagi at Tigers

LAST-MINUTE deliberations may yet see Manu Tuilagi remain a Leicester Tiger.

It is believed there has been a change of heart from those involved around the discussions and that there are now hopes that the 20-year Tuilagi family connection with Leicester will continue. Monday is the cut-off for any reconciliation, but a stumbling block may be that the new Tigers management team of head coach Steve Borthwick and director of rugby Geordan Murphy have to be persuaded Tuilagi is worth the effort of rejigging their recruitment plans.
