What stars REALLY got up to on the night Robbie: Brits is snort what it used to be

Too many Angels at bash for our wild icon Wowie, more Bowie to come after winning big Skandal for grime golden boy Skepta Get the Ed’s up on world domination

David lenged Liam Gallagher, 44, to a fight. But the singer admits he would have ended up dead if he hadn’t changed his ways. He continues: “My attitude is different now. Back then in the 90s, it was a high-octane, impossible-to-keep-up-without-dying lifestyle I had. People who have kept that up are now dead. For every up, there’s a hangover. So I’m more responsible now.” Robbie closed Wednesday’s show at London’s O2 after winning the Brits Icon Award. And while he laid off the partying Noel Gallagher, 49, was the last man standing at the swanky Warner bash. Before demanding the bar stay open late, he told me: “I’m having a bloody good time. The parties are always great.” Another highlight was Peter Crouch, 36, unleashing his trademark robot dance moves during Mike Skinner’s impressive DJ set. At least someone still likes a night on the lash. Pout with Noel. Above, Robbie David Bowie fans are in for a treat, with his estate set to release music the legend was working on before his death.

Producer Tony Visconti, who was involved with 13 of Bowie’s albums, including Blackstar, said he can’t reveal any more about the projects. But he admitted: “I’m working on them.”

Bowie won Best Male and Best Album at the Brits, with his son Duncan Jones picking up the awards. And Tony, 72, who watched from the audience, told me he was immensely proud of his late pal.

Bowie had been planning a new album before his death last year and had written and recorded demos of at least five songs.

Alesha Dixon blasted the voting panel saying: “It’s great nominees are more diverse. But Skepta not winning – I can’t believe it. It’s his year – grime’s year. It’s a shame.”

But Skepta didn’t seem too bothered – he spent the night flashing his gold teeth.

With BGT beauty Alesha Instead of flirting, I think Ashley Roberts was just babysitting 17-year-old Brooklyn Beckham at the Brits. In fact, Ashley, 35, tells me she’s been using celeb dating app Raya.

The ex-pussycat Doll says: “I’m on the single train. I’m open to love – I’m so ready to share my life with someone. I went on this blind date and the guy was super-duper lovely.” Things are getting hectic for Ed Sheeran after his time off. He’ll be touring with the new album for TWO years – and can’t wait to perform at Glasto.

A pal says: “Ed has been all over the place promoting his new singles. Since they’ve become worldwide hits, every country wants a piece of him so he’s been doing as much promo as he can before going off on his world tour.

“He feels so refreshed after taking a year off and is like, ‘Bring on Wembley and Glastonbury’.” Rita Ora’s stylist and best mate Kyle De’volle spent the ceremony throwing ice at Rita – who was three tables away. And he nearly hit Holly Willoughby in the process. Things could have got frosty...
