44yr-old man dies in prison

A 44-year-old prisoner died in the early hours of yesterday.

The Northern Ireland Prison Service confirmed the man passed away at Magilligan in Co Derry.

Chief Ronnie Armour said: “I would like to extend my sympathy and that of the Northern Ireland Prison Service to the family of the prisoner.”
