Sean Mccartan from Antrim Richard Moran arrives at Dublin Airport yesterday Lorraine Whelan from Wicklow Floorball team touch down IRELAND’S Special Olympic heroes arrived home yesterday with a massive haul of eight medals from the Winter Games in Austria.
The team were greeted by cheering fans and family members when they touched down at Dublin Airport.
Special Olympics Ireland chief Matt English praised the two gold, three silver and three bronze medals.
He said: “It is absolutely fantastic.”
