Baby girl’s body is released to her fam­ily ahead of Mass of the Angels

Ross­more home. A fu­neral no­tice posted on said the “cher­ished and loved daugh­ter of Louise and Paul” will re­pose at the fam­ily home from 5pm to 7.30pm this evening.

A Mass of the Angels will take place in St Ni­cholas’ Church, Solo­head, at 11.30am to­mor­row fol­lowed by a pri­vate burial.

The no­tice added Chloe is “now sleep­ing peace­fully with the angels in heaven”.

State Pathol­o­gist Dr Marie Cas­sidy car­ried out the post­mortem at Uni­ver­sity Hos­pi­tal in Lim­er­ick and an in­quest is also ex­pected to be held.

Paul is not ex­pected to face any charges in con­nec­tion

The dol­phin ap­peared to have been thrown out of a win­dow with her death which gar­dai said was a “per­sonal tragedy”. Louise had just re­turned to her job af­ter ma­ter­nity leave and Paul of­fered to drop Chloe to creche on his way to work. It is be­lieved he was dis­tracted by a phone call and the tot was found in her car seat and un­re­spon­sive af­ter 1pm. Staff at the steel­works held a vigil on Fri­day and placed flow­ers and can­dles out­side the fac­tory.
