SUNDAY

- By Annabel Karmel

Sundays start with a morning walk on Primrose Hill with my three dogs. I have a golden retriever Sabre, a Samoyed called Hamilton and my American cocker spaniel Bono.

They literally pull me along to the park – it’s more them taking me for a walk than the other way.

After building up an appetite it’s back home to cook lunch for friends and their families. My roast chicken with vegetables and gravy from my new Baby-led Weaning Recipe Book is my go-to – it’s a delicious, easy meal that feeds the whole family including baby.

Sundays are all about family and one of my greatest pleasures definitely has to be dinner with my three children – Nicholas, Lara and Scarlett. Now they are in their twenties, you have to grab these opportunities when you can! I’ll use the leftover chicken from lunch to make my tasty chicken and sweetcorn croquettes.

At the end of the day you’ll find me on the sofa catching up on Homeland – I’m hooked.

Annabel’s new Baby-led Weaning Recipe Book is out now.
