€20 bet nets punter €12k

A PUNTER will have a winning smile after netting more than €12,000 on a €20 bet on the horses.

Their €10 each-way accumulator with bookmakers Boylesports on six races had odds ranging from 11/8 to 11/2.

Liam Glynn of Boylesports said yesterday: “Hats off to the lucky County Cork customer on their savvy picking across Friday’s horse racing.

“The customer certainly knows his horses as they all were first past the post.”
