Horror on taxpayer

POLICE believe Abedi used student loans and possibly benefits to bankroll the atrocity.

He was given at least €8,000 from the Student Loans Company to study business at university in October 2015 and it is thought he got the same sum a year later.

Abedi,, never held down a job but was able to travel regularly between the UK and Libya and rent a Manchester flat. He withdrew €290 days before the attack and reportedly transferred €2,860 to his brother in Libya.
