Welcome to the jungle

Exotic prints are all the rage...

WELCOME to the jungle – with the mercury hitting the high notes we’re embracing summer’s most luscious print.

This season’s tropical prints combine hibiscus flowers, palm leaves and bird-of-paradise with a hit of exotic colour.

Exotic greenery was marched down the SS17 runways carried over from recent seasons, of course.

Everyone from Peter Pilotto to Max Mara indulged in tropical delights and now the high street is awash with a chaotic mix of all the flora and fauna of islands, beaches, forests and gardens. Say “aloha” to all the bold botanical motifs at top fashion-forward stores including Zara, H&M and Mango.

Topshop also have accents of tropicana in their new season, we love the Moto Flamingo sequin mom jeans, €76.

The summer island fever trend is also big news for swimwear this season.

One of our favourites is Myleene Klass’ Littlewoods Ireland underwired strappy one-piece, €42.
