Foynes Air Show takes to the skies

OVER 30,000 people packed out the stands at the largest-ever Foynes Air Show display yesterday.

Military pilots from throughout Europe showcased some of the world’s most high-tech and state-ofthe-art planes in the clear skies over West Limerick.

The roar from a F-18 jet from the Spanish air force display team kicked off the celebrations – a first for Ireland.
