- BY TOM KERSHAW

Tony and Kay A FARMER has recovered after suffering six heart attacks in one day and being declared clinically dead for one minute.

Tony Smith, 33, had his first attack at 4am when he got up to feed 18-monthold son Bailey. Then in the ambulance and at hospital the attacks continued.

The dad of two, from Hull, said: “It was during the fourth heart attack, at Hull Royal, that I died. I was gone for a minute.

“Doctors think I had an underlying heart condition. I take one day at a time now.”

Wife Kay said Tony had lost 22lb shortly before his attacks in May.

She said: “He’s a farmer so he’s active. The surgeon said at the weight Tony was he wouldn’t have been able to do the operation.” Justine Damond
